We grant you a non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable, and royalty-free license to use ToolBuddy's tools for lawful purposes, including:

• Personal Use: Editing photos, resizing images, creating social media graphics, merging personal documents.
• Commercial & Business Use: Generating commercial invoices, business quotations, purchase orders, UPI QR codes, and client collateral.
• Educational & Academic Use: Research, classroom projects, and document preparation.

You agree NOT to:

• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or impair the website's infrastructure via Denial of Service (DoS/DDoS) attacks or automated scraping that harms availability.
• Use the tools to process, generate, or distribute unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or malicious files or content.
• Reverse-engineer or republish the entire website layout as a mirror or phishing service under false pretenses.

3. User Content & 100% Intellectual Property Ownership

You retain complete ownership: You retain all rights, title, copyright, and interest in any images, PDFs, text, code, or documents that you upload, input, or process through ToolBuddy.

ToolBuddy does not claim any license, ownership, or intellectual property rights over your data. Furthermore, because files are processed entirely in your device's browser memory (client-side), no copies are transmitted to or stored on our servers.

You represent and warrant that you own or have obtained all necessary licenses, rights, and permissions for any materials you process using our services.

4. ToolBuddy Intellectual Property

The ToolBuddy brand name, logo, site design, user interface components, written text, documentation, and proprietary source code are the intellectual property of ToolBuddy and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and unfair competition laws.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

ToolBuddy and its tools are provided strictly on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

While we test our tools extensively for mathematical precision and format fidelity, we do not warrant that the tools will be completely uninterrupted, error-free, or that every image compression algorithm will achieve an exact desired byte threshold without perceptual impact. Users are advised to retain unaltered backups of original files.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall ToolBuddy, its founders, developers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the service.
