Choose 'A4' (or 'US Letter') if you are submitting official documents, receipts, or assignments that may be printed—every page will have a uniform standard width and height. Choose 'Fit to Image' if you are combining screenshots, comics, or design mockups of different proportions and want zero white bars.

How happens to transparent backgrounds in PNG or WebP images?

Standard PDF pages use an opaque white paper canvas. Any transparent pixels in PNG or WebP files are automatically placed against a crisp white background so black text or dark logos remain clearly visible.

How many images can I combine into one PDF at once?

You can add up to 50 images in a single batch. If you are combining dozens of 12-megapixel smartphone photos and want a smaller final PDF size, you can run the images through our Compress Image tool first or run the finished PDF through Compress PDF.

Can I mix portrait and landscape photos in the same PDF?
